Who's getting bored in lockdown? We've put together a list of activities for kids that the whole family can get involved in!
Tudor House History Club
Mondays from 22 February to 29 March, 4.30-5.30pm, £7.50 each or £36 for all six sessions.
Led by learning officers Andy and Kate, each session explores a different theme or period of history; from the rampaging Romans to the terrible Tudors through fun activities, crafts and quizzes and with a local focus. Designed for 7-12 yrs.

Kids Art Club Online
Wednesdays from 24 February to 31 March, 4.30-5.30pm, £7.50 each or £36 for all six sessions.
The perfect online course for any child interested in art. These fun and creative online sessions led by local artist Ali Eales, cover artists, art movements and themes, through drawing challenges, games and projects! This course is aimed at 7-11 yrs, although children of other ages may enjoy it and adults accompanying their children are welcome to participate in the fun!

Saxon Action!
Delve into Saxon Southampton in this fun history and craft workshop! Try your hand at weaving, make your own rune necklace and discover the story of Saxons buried under St Mary's Stadium! This session is designed for children aged seven and older. Tickets are £6 per person - 7 April.

Family Old Town Walk: Pirates, Plunder & Plague
Join one of the Tudor House team in exploring the hidden histories of Southampton by venturing into vaults and scale the town’s ancient walls while discovering tales of plunder, plague and villainy! Bring a torch for added fun and make sure you wear sensible shoes. Over 11s will require masks for indoor elements of the tour. Tickets are £6 per person - 9 April.

Off With Their Heads
Discover all things Tudor in this activity-packed session looking at the grim, gruesome and fascinating world of the Tudors. Finish the session by creating your very own clay head based on your favourite Tudor! This session is aimed at children aged 7 and over. £8 per ticket - 12 April.

Learning in Libraries - Family Zumba
This family course is for children (aged 4-11) and their grown ups who would like to try Zumba in order to be more active and flexible as well as having fun whilst exercising together. Sessions are free - 28 Feb-28 March.

Learning in Libraries - Animal Antics
Create some animal art. This family workshop is suitable for children aged 8+. Develop your family's creative skills in using shapes and shading. By the end of the course you will be able create at least two animal artworks and use watercolour pencils in 3 different ways. £10 per ticket - 3 March.

Learning in Libraries - Mother's Day Masterpieces
Create art for your mum or someone special. This family workshop is suitable for children aged 6+. Develop your family's creative skills in using shapes and shading. By the end of the course you will be able to create one special artwork that stands up on its own, use 3 different types of shading and make different colours with your colour pencils. £10 per ticket - 13 March.
